Our Focus Regions

By collaborating with Germany's key foreign trade committees, the German Agribusiness Alliance provides the German agricultural and food industry with access to relevant networks for the development and expansion of their business activities in important future markets in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as in Asia and Africa.

Our Partners

The German Agribusiness Alliance maintains a close strategic partnership with a wide range of national and international stakeholders from politics, business, and civil society to specifically support German agribusiness in its activities within partner countries. At the center of this effort is the promotion of international market opportunities, the establishment of long-term cooperation, and the improvement of agricultural policy and economic framework conditions for German companies. On a national level, the GAA works closely with institutions such as the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Homeland (BMLEH) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), as well as business-oriented organizations such as the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (OA), the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA), and the German-African Business Association (AV). These partnerships make it possible to incorporate the interests and expertise of German agribusiness into international dialogues in a targeted manner. Complementing this, the GAA cooperates with international organizations, development banks, and ministries in partner countries, among others, to strengthen knowledge transfer, promote sustainable solutions, and further expand the position of German companies in global agricultural markets.
